Upgrade Instructions Guide

Download the current package update for Open Auto Classifieds from Sourceforge.

Find the file openauto_update_x.x.x.zip, where x.x.x is the current latest version.

Only upgrade if all previous upgrades have been installed.

NOTE!! Backup your existing installation before preceding

• Unzip the Open Auto update zip file to a location on your computer.
• If you have made changes to any of the templates you should merge your changes at this point before overwriting the templates on your web server.
• Upload the files keeping them in the same directory structure they are in.
• Overwrite if prompted.
• Proceed to the upgrade page via http://yoursite.com/install/
• Follow along the guided upgrade process As long as no errors occurred your upgrade is complete.
• Delete the install folder from your server.

• overwrite if prompted.
• Run the SQL_update.php file to perform MySQL updates it is located in the UPGRADE folder you should have just uploaded.

NOTE!! just by browsing to the update file it will perform the update.

• remove the UPGRADE directory when finished.
